At the end of March 2018 the IPDA had 57 members. At the start of September, 5 months later, we now have 114 members. We doubled the membership in just 5 months. Well done to everyone who has contributed to this achievement. Not only is it one to be proud of, it is one to show what can be done when members decide, and the dealer community decides, the IPDA really is an Association that is needed in the philatelic world we now live in.
Yet having written this I realise it is still a very small number by comparison with the number of dealers and part time sellers there are on the internet.
But, it is a good start isn’t it? We have a web site that works, J we have a Board that is committed to grow the IPDA and provide services, and, we have highly respected dealers joining us now.
Let’s keep this up for the next 4 months of 2018 and see where we start 2019. Anyone want to have a guess what our membership will be at the start of 2019? Just post a comment. J Maybe we will have a philatelic prize for the person closest to the actual number. J I am working on something.
